Sergeant Andrew Rickerby from Stuart Police Station is looking at having a procedure in place so police can readily identify if the person displaying antisocial behaviours is on the autism spectrum, and hence requires special expertise to handle the situation. Many with children on the spectrum have found themselves in  situations involving the police and having to explain the child’s or young adult’s uncooperative behaviour. I have invited Sergeant Rickerby to speak at our next coffee morning. As he is unable to attend on the last Friday of this month we will run the coffee morning on :
