Both Katrina and Bob were nominated by Chris
• Katrina, Chris's son's teacher was nominated for her patience and help.
• Bob, Legacy Vice President, was nominated for the understanding he has shown her and her family following her husband's recent death, particularly towards her ASD son.

Jillian Ballantyne - an occupational therapist who assists many ASD children in her work;
Dawn Willis - a swimming instructor who is caring towards ASD children;
Lollipops Playground (Domain Central)- an ASD-friendly business


Picnic in the Park - 16 May, 2009
Picnic in the Park was a fun day for families held at Rotary Park. Funding assistance for this activity was provided by the Townsville City Council, for which we are truly grateful.


Siblings Fun Days - 19 & 26 September, 2009
Siblings Fun Days, sponsored by the Dept. of Communities, were held on consecutive Saturdays. It provided these children with an opportunity to mix with other children who have a sibling with autism and be able to share their experiences while participating in fun activities.


Beyond Behaviour Symposium - 4 & 5 November, 2009

AEIOU Fundraiser Auction - 27 November, 2009
The Autism Early Intervention Outcomes Unit (AEIOU) fundraiser auction raised over $4000.00 which will contribute greatly to the programs in place to assist children with autism. Many thanks to the support from the community to make this auction the success that it was.AEIOU Auction
